Eynsford offers something for all ages within the community with activities including yoga, youth clubs, gardening, walking, quilting and many more. Most of the clubs and societies are run by volunteers some meeting weekly, others monthly or quarterly. All events and activities are included on the calendar where details are provided.

1st Eynsford and Farningham Guides

For girls aged 10 to 14, we meet at the Scout Hall, Eynsford on Monday evenings. We are a busy, friendly unit with 20 members. We enjoy a large range of activities throughout the year following the ethos of Guiding. New members are always welcome.

1st Eynsford and Farningham Scout Group

The Scout Group has 4 sections, Beavers for 6-8 year olds; Cubs for 8 -10 1/2 year olds; Scouts for 10 1/2 - 14 year olds and Explorers for 14 -18 year olds. We meet in the Edwards Hall in Priory Lane, Eynsford.

Best Kept Village Group

All are welcome to join this group of volunteers who look after the public areas of the village - planting, weeding and tidying. The village has won several Britain in Bloom prizes. The group meets on the first Saturday of the month at 9.30am in Ford House car park.

Darent valley Youth Music

We are a group of over 50 young musicians aged 7 to 18 who meet in St Martin's Church on Friday evenings and Saturdays.

Fridays: 4.45 Endeavour Jazz
6:30 Sax Squad or Rock band (alternate Fridays)

Saturday: 9:00 Theory of Music for GCSE, 9:45 Wind Band,
11:30 Percussion (All players need to be Grade 3 or above)
5:00 Enterprise band - beginners

The Eynsford Concert Band

The Eynsford Concert Band is a symphonic wind band that has been based in the village of Eynsford, Kent since 1972. Over the years, the band has developed into a successful group of talented musicians, performing regularly in theatres, concert halls, musical contests and festivals, both at home and abroad. The Eynsford Gardening Club

A friendly club for everyone interested in gardening and vegatable growing. There are 3 evening meetings a year in the Village Hall, which consist of a talk and a small plant show. Every year there is the open Summer Show, held on a Saturday, again in the Village Hall, it gives members and non-members a chance to show their flowers, fruit and vegetables.

The Eynsford Millfield Trust

In September 2000, Eynsford Village Society purchased Millfield, a meadow between the A225 and the River Darent, separating Eynsford from Farningham village. A Trust was set up to administer the property, which was later formed into a Charitable Trust.

The trustees are: Chairman Bjorn Ramell, Secretary Rodney Burton, Treasurer David Penney, Ken Baker, Gary Mullins, Sue Fenlon and Audrey Gee.

Eynsford Village Society (EVS)

The society was formed in 1945, is run by a committee of 12 - elected annually, and is a charity. All residents of Eynsford have free membership. The society watches over community life, will comment on planning issues and anything affecting the village. EVS organises village celebrations e.g. commemorating the Millennium and for the Queen's Golden Jubilee.

The Farningham and Darent Valley
  PROBUS Club

The club consists of retired former PROfessional and BUSiness men who meet monthly for a relaxed social occasion, and to hear a talk by a visiting speaker, followed by a lunch. In the summer months visits to interesting places are also arranged.

Monday Playgroup

Babies, toddlers and their parents / carers are invited to attend this weekly session in Eynsford to play with toys and games, socialise with others and enjoy singing together. The playgroup is held on Monday mornings 10 - 12 upstairs in the Baptist Church, High Street, Eynsford.

Riverside Players

We are a friendly amateur dramatic society with some big productions under our belt. Monthly socials are held at the The Pied Bull in Farningham, starting at 8.00pm. Auditions for the Riverside Players are Open to ALL! Everybody, known or unknown, good or bad is encouraged and respected. If successful at an audition and you accept the part you will need to become a member.

Eynsford & Farningham Church Choir

The Choir sings at morning and evening services on Sundays. Members are asked to attend at least one of the two services, plus Thursday evening practice, which usually takes up about one hour, but a bit longer if we are preparing for a special occasion. New members (women, men, girls and boys, aged 8 and over) are always welcome.
